As an instructor, my pedagogy centers on equitable and active learning, focusing on building a learning community that fosters critical thinking.  Working with a diverse student body has informed my approach, which is centered on presenting the material in many ways, making it accessible and digestible to my students. In practice, this translates into implementing active learning exercises that encourage students to make connections between theoretical concepts and real-world examples.
